SMS reminders are sent only when the person expressly selects the SMS-reminder option. We do not use that selection to send unrelated marketing text messages.
3. Consultations and Recordings
Consultations may take place using Zoom.
Recording is optional and requires separate consent. Declining recording does not affect the ability to participate in the consultation.
When recording is accepted:
- The recording is used only for Jay DuSold’s private review and improvement of the consultation process.
- It is saved locally rather than to Zoom cloud recording.
- We do not use transcription or artificial-intelligence transcription.
- The recording is transferred to a secured, encrypted external drive accessible only to Jay DuSold.
- It is not used publicly or in marketing.
- It is not voluntarily shared with another person.
- It is deleted within 90 days, unless temporary preservation is required by law.
Participants will also be informed before recording begins.
4. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, remember privacy choices, understand website usage, and measure advertising.
Our website uses:
- Google Analytics to understand website traffic and usage
- Meta Pixel to measure advertising performance and activity following interaction with an advertisement
- Complianz to display privacy choices and manage cookies and scripts
Some disclosures to Meta or other advertising providers may be considered “selling,” “sharing,” or processing for targeted advertising under certain U.S. state privacy laws, even though we do not sell personal information for money.
Visitors can opt out of analytics and marketing cookies through the Opt-out Preferences link displayed on the website. Where supported, we also recognize Global Privacy Control signals.
Additional information about particular cookies and their expiration periods is available in our Cookie Policy and Opt-out Preferences page.
5. Email and Newsletter Communications
We use ActiveCampaign to manage newsletter subscriptions and certain website forms.
If you subscribe to the newsletter, we may collect your name, email address, subscription status, IP address, approximate location, and information about email opens or link clicks.
You may unsubscribe using the link included in each marketing email. When someone unsubscribes, we promptly remove that person from our active marketing records. Limited residual information may temporarily remain in provider recovery or backup systems or be retained as necessary to document and honor the opt-out request.
