Objective Data for Decision Making
A deep dissatisfaction with the job that I held made me realize that I didn't know myself very well. I knew that I was feeling unhappy and unfulfilled with the position, but I wasn't sure of the "why" behind the dissatisfaction. Love Your Lifework allowed me to pinpoint the aspects of my job that were causing me the most dissatisfaction and gave me ideas on how to correct the misalignment. Ultimately, I realized that the position was such a misalignment with my design that I ended up changing jobs. I felt very content with my decision, as The MapInMe Journey had given me objective data on which to base the decision to switch. As I move forward, I'm able to quickly discern which jobs to pursue and which to stay way from, because I have a much better understanding of my design and how I'm wired.
